Do I have to
Register? You do not need to register to browse or buy
items, but you must register in order to Post or Sell items.
Additionally, you must register
in order to leave feedback about a seller. You can choose between a
Personal and Store Account – both account options are free but if
you are listing more than 10 items, we recommended a store
account. Registration is fast and secure. Once you’ve created a
XuMall Vancouver account, you can manage your listings and personal
information at "MyXuMall Vancouver".
Can I register if I am under
18 years old? No. You must be 18 years old to register as
a member of XuMall Vancouver.
Do I have to live in the
United States? No. You can Browse or Buy items from
anywhere in the world. However Posting items on XuMall Vancouver is only
available within the United States.
Do I need a credit card to
register? No. A Credit Card is not currently required for
any activity, including registration, on XuMall Vancouver.
How do I choose a User
ID? A Member ID is the unique nickname you use to identify
yourself to other members on XuMall Vancouver. When you register at
XuMall Vancouver, choose a Member ID that you'll remember and that tells
people something about yourself.

Must be at least one character long - Can't contain spaces or
tabs - Can't be obscene, profane, or hateful - Can't be an
email address or Web
site - Can't contain URLs
(for example xyz.com) - Can't contain the word "XuMall Vancouver" - only
XuMall Vancouver employees may use "XuMall Vancouver" in their Member IDs
Can I use my email address
as my Member ID? No. Member IDs cannot contain symbols or
punctuations.
Can I change my Member
ID? No. Once created, you cannot change your Member ID or
feedback rating. Other information like your email address, mailing
address, password, etc. can be changed at any time by visiting the
My XuMall Vancouver section of the site.
Can I use a free email
account? In order to make buying and selling safer online
XuMall Vancouver requires members who register using a free email address
such as Yahoo or Hotmail to ID Verify their accounts to post items.
Examples of acceptable email accounts include those from your ISP,
company, organization, group, school, etc.
If you do not
have another email address but wish to use your free email account
for your XuMall Vancouver account or XuMall Vancouver Store then please use
XuMall Vancouver's ID Verify deposit which will enable you to continue to
use your free email address with XuMall Vancouver. ID Verify is a $5 annual
deposit (not a fee or charge) into your XuMall Vancouver account which you
can use to enhance your listing, be seen by more buyers nationally,
and provides a check mark next to your item or store.
How do I choose a
password? You should choose something you will remember,
but not something that others can easily guessed. We do not place
any restrictions on your password. Please remember that your
password is case sensitive though.
What should I do if I forget
my password? You can change your password online by
clicking on the Forgot Password link on the Sign In page. You will
be prompted for certain information about your account (your Member
ID and the answer to your Secret Question) in order to change your
password. We incorporate the measures for your safety and the
privacy.
How can I change my personal
information? Except for your Member ID and feedback, you
can change any of your account information by visiting the My XuMall Vancouver
section of our site.
How is my personal
information used? XuMall Vancouver will not Sell or Rent your
personal information to anybody. Please see our Privacy Policy
for more details.
Can I delete my
account? No, you cannot "delete" your account; however,
you can "close" your account. By closing your account you or any
other member will not be able to access your account details.
XuMall Vancouver will maintain your registration information in an archived
database to retrieve information in the event of any fraud or
security related issues.
Why do I need to submit my
email address during registration? XuMall Vancouver’s registration
process makes sure your email is working properly. Having a working
email is required to use XuMall Vancouver. Email is the primary method used
in verifying member identifies and facilitating communications with
prospective buyers and sellers.
What’s a APO/FPO
address? APO (Army Post Office) or FPO (Fleet Post Office)
address is a military designated address mail to be delivered to
overseas locations at domestic rates. Instead of a city and state,
these addresses use along with "AE" (mail going to Europe, the
Middle East, Africa, and portions of Canada), "AP" (the Pacific) and
"AA" (for the Americas and portions of Canada). Therefore, the
bottom line of overseas military addresses is: APO or FPO; followed
by AE, AP, or AA; and then the ZIP Code.
